Clinical mass spectrometry: from basic research to drug monitoring and toxicology
This workshop aims to discuss the importance of mass spectrometry in clinical research.
It will provide insights into the latest trends and tools that impact biomarker research. Clinical mass spectrometry proteomics assays are increasingly used in clinical laboratories to analyze peptides and proteins for diagnosis, toxicology, and pharmacological purposes. It is, therefore, urgent to characterize and validate the methods available for liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry targeted quantification of peptide and protein biomarkers in biological fluids in the context of in-vitro diagnostics.
The workshop aims to encourage participants from academia, industry, national research societies, and instrument vendors to interact and create new collaborations between multiple disciplines and participating countries.
