Once again, the Centro Cardiologico Monzino has been chosen as the only Italian location for a live on 23rd Annual International AF Symposium, one of the most important international events on the topic of atrial fibrillation. The live broadcast will be held on 11 January, from 7,15 pm and will be conducted by the Electrophysiology Laboratory with a clinical case of closure of the left atrial appendage.

The AF Symposium was initiated in 1995, in response to the growing epidemic of atrial fibrillation. The past two decades have witnessed dramatic advances in all areas of AF research. These developments have contributed to major progress in our understanding of the pathophysiology of this arrhythmia and to the development of safer and more effective strategies for the management of AF and the prevention of AF-related stroke.

The AF Symposium is dedicated to bringing these advances to the attention of a vast international audience of arithmologists. And the live from the Monzino will be one of the tools for clinical-practical updating.
