Peri-Operative Cardiology

The Perioperative Cardiology Unit is dedicated to the comprehensive clinical management of patients with complex cardiovascular disease and of patients undergoing cardiac surgery, ensuring continuity of care throughout every stage of the treatment pathway: from preoperative assessment to postoperative stabilization and monitoring, through to discharge and follow-up.

Through close multidisciplinary collaboration with the cardiac surgery team, the Unit aims to ensure optimal preparation for surgery, accurate clinical management during hospitalization, and a rapid and safe functional recovery.

Clinical excellence and a patient-centered approach make the Perioperative Cardiology Unit a recognized reference center for the care of cardiac surgery patients. Every intervention is part of a coordinated, multidisciplinary, evidence-based care pathway designed to ensure the highest standards of safety, effectiveness, and quality of care.
