The course will focus about the modern approach to structural heart interventions; imagers, interventional cardiologists and radiologists are directly involved in procedural planning of each procedure and they must be aware of indications, limitations, device selection, procedural steps and possible complications. In this course a panel of expert imagers, radiologists and interventional cardiologists will dive deep into each aspect of interventional cardiology and they will show how to use last generation technologies and software in the field of structural heart interventions.
Course structure
The Basic Course consists of 2 days. The course takes place in a classroom setting and combines lectures with post-processing and interpretation of structured case studies related to the lectures. A minimum of 50 cases will be discussed, meeting the requirements for international Level 1 certification.
